OUR CHEF
Chef Tobias Dorzon, is an experienced executive private chef, and founder of Victory Chef Restaurant in Miami along with the well known Victory Food Truck. As a first-generation African born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Chef Tobias grew up watching his Liberian father and chef in the kitchen, but opted to pursue football and attended Jackson State University on a full athletic scholarship.
Dorzon brings over 15 years of experience to Thirteen Restaurant attending the Culinary School at the Art Institute of Washington and studied and trained in fine dining in Sicily, Italy, making the extensive menu from his own recipes and creations.
Chef Tobias is one of very few African chefs selected to curate his very own private dinner at the world renowned James Beard House, and in 2019, he was featured in multiple episodes of the 20th season of Food Network's Guy’s Grocery Games TV show that he then became the champion.
DRESS CODE
At Thirteen, we enforce a strict, upscale dress code. We do not allow athletic apparel, jerseys, hats, beanies, bandanas, ball caps, or oversized clothing including baggy clothing, sleeveless shirts or tank tops. Beachwear and gym attire including sweatpants and hoodies are also prohibited.
